Mentalist (Mind Reader)
The word MENTALIST has a range of meanings,
In popular parlance, a Mentalist is someone who often behaves in an odd, exaggerated, or over-the-top way, possibly appearing unhinged.
It also refers to someone who follows a philosophical framework, which supports the notion that we construct reality in our minds, As in the film the Matrix.
Finally the word Mentalist can refer to a performer who uses psychological, sociological and magical means to demonstrate the ability to read the minds of others.
In my case, all three of these definitions apply.
Psychic Entertainer
By definition, Mentalists deal with demonstrations of what could be termed Intuitive or Psychic
Much of my work deals with what could be considered "the paranormal." As such, working with Oracles and entertaining with "readings" (Tarot, Palmistry, Gemstones, Cards) are part of my repertoire or, in many cases, the focus of it.
As a researcher and writer, I am conversant with a wide range of Occult and Esoteric systems and have been involved in Paranormal/Parapsychological research.
I have appeared on the series Mystic Britain with Clive Anderson, exploring legends of King Arthur, Merlin and Excalibur.
Academic Qualifications include: BSc (Hons) , PhD
Diploma in Parapsychology,
Certified Hypnotherapist, Master Practitioner NLP. Reiki Master.
Initiated into Wiccan, Druidic, and Western Magickal Traditions, Cerified Mindfulness Trainer and Teacher.
